In 2019, the Love Needs No Words project emerged as a beacon of hope and advocacy for individuals who are nonspeaking, regardless of their disability or diagnosis. Founded as a political campaign, its mission was clear: to raise awareness and foster change for those who communicate differently, emphasizing the importance of embracing all forms of communication and ensuring access for everyone.
One of the project's significant milestones was the establishment of the first-ever National Nonspeaking Nonverbal Awareness Day, observed annually on September 30th.
